Introduction
Ambev, one of Brazil’s largest brewing companies, launched an internal initiative focused on recognizing and celebrating the efforts of its teams. As part of that, they needed a custom landing page to highlight all participants and winners of their company-wide contests, while also boosting engagement and creating a sense of connection across different departments.
I was responsible for the entire experience—from early discovery and ideation to final delivery—working within a tight timeline of just over a month and a half. The project required a balance of creative storytelling, interactivity, and technical execution.
The main objectives were to promote internal engagement, celebrate and recognize employees, create a personalized and immersive user journey, and deliver a visually impactful landing page built entirely with interactive 3D elements.
Process and Experience
I was responsible for the full design and development of the project. It began with quick interviews with Ambev’s leadership to align on goals and expectations. Right after that, I conducted a competitive analysis and explored code-based animation websites to gather visual and technical inspiration. This helped define the overall tone, interaction style, and creative direction of the landing page.
From there, I created the wireframes and mapped out the user flow, aiming for a smooth, engaging experience. All 3D animations and transitions were custom-built to bring energy and depth to the interface. I also implemented an employee ID login to make the experience more personalized.
Sound and motion played a key role throughout. Ambient audio added rhythm and emotion, while interactive elements encouraged users to explore contest categories and discover winners in a playful, rewarding way.
Experience Highlights
3D Animations:
I used custom 3D elements and smooth transitions to bring energy and movement into the interface, creating a sense of depth and visual flow as users navigated through the page
Sound Design:
Ambient audio layers were added to build rhythm and emotion, helping guide the user’s attention and making the experience feel more immersive and engaging.
Interactivity:
Users could explore contest categories, view winners, and interact with various animated elements—encouraging curiosity and rewarding exploration with playful responses.
The Finale:
To close the experience, I combined all elements—sound, movement, and interaction—into a cinematic ending. The camera moved in sync with the rhythm of the soundtrack, and messages appeared on-screen in time with the beat. This final interaction visually included the user in the moment, creating a strong sense of presence and turning the landing page into a memorable, emotionally resonant experience.
Conclusion
This project was a great opportunity to blend storytelling, design, and technology into a single immersive experience. In a short timeframe, I was able to bring Ambev’s internal initiative to life through thoughtful interactions, custom 3D animations, and emotional touchpoints. The result was a unique and engaging platform that not only celebrated employees but also strengthened their connection to the brand.
